Steven Paul Jobs

Who among us doesn’t know  about Apple and its products which magnified the technology like anything? And  the mastermind behind this technology evolution is none other than “Steve Jobs” as we all know. So I am very sure, those who love Apple products and the Jobs admirers would love to know about his story and the path he walked to reach the level where we found him.

As his  father Paul was machinist so Jobs used to help him  in their own garage electronics work and this is what taught him how to reconstruct the field of electronics and gradually his keen interest turned into his hobby and lead him to the path of inventing and creating something new. Jobs had always been the owner of a smart and intelligent mind.

Then came the important point of his life, he joined Homestead High School and he met Steve Wozniak – his future partner of Apple. Wozniak at that time was attending the University of California, Berkeley. Surprisingly they both had outstanding knowledge and interests in electronics and in this way they got their common thread.

Together they created history. The developed such a circuit board that was impossible to reproduce in an assembly line.

Steve Jobs died peacefully with his family surrounding him. A small private funeral was held, but the details were not revealed to the public out of respect to his family.

Apple, Pixar, Microsoft, Disney everyone flew their flags half mast in his remembrance from October 6th to 12th 2011.

Steve Jobs is buried in automation Memorial Park the only non-denominational cemetery in Palo Alto California, his grave is unmarked.

The hijack was occurred just two days before her twenty third birthday ,Neerja was a brave girl. She got so many awards . Nostradamus

The thought about Nostradamus always brings an exclamatory mark to my mind. The way he predicted the future still remains to be a mystery.Nostradamus predicted so many things. Its still a wonder whether he predicted things or events happened according to his words.

Nostradamus predicted both the world wars. Apart from that the better point is that he predicted the hero of the war. Yes! He foretold about Hitler. He is renowned for suposedly foretelling a number of catastrophic events including the great fire of London, the French revolution, the destruction of the atomic bomb and the attack on the World Trade Centre on 9\11.

The most amazing part which actually impressed me as well as brought nervousness was that Nostradamus died and was buried like any other ordinary man. But later he became popular and people opened his cemetry. Those who opened got scared because the date in which they opened the cemetry was written on that!!!!!

He's really a strange and mysterious person.

Saji Thomas

You hear so many stories that are worth being inspired over in this information obsessed world we live in. And as a rule of law a deaf mute pilot constructing his own light air craft would fit snugly into one of those feel good stories you read with a cup of coffee in your hand and then promptly forget about in a few hours.

But Saji Thomas from Thattakuzha village in Idukki district of Kerala begs to differ. His achievement as a deaf and mute member of our society who aimed for the heights of the sky and succeeded is nothing to blink about.

And it is still relevant today because neither the government nor the private sector took any notice of this eight standard drop out and there still isn’t a movie style closure to Saji’s story. The daring of the unrecognized, is the crux of our civil society, isn’t it?

Sam jaisundar

When the team of mine chosen the topic inspiring people the first person who came in my mind was Sam Jaisunder. He works at Scripture union. He is basically from Coimbatore he did his college in Chennai. He went to so many schools to conduct SU (Scripture union)session like that he came to our school too.

That time i really don't know what is SU means then i got to know that SU means Scripture union the session got started everybody in the group introduced themselves and the captain of the ship too he taught songs and moral values and he shared the experience about the places he went that made me so inspired. He is too friendly and he helped so many people before the session started i had no idea that what is going to happen after the session got over me and my friends planned to meet him when we spoke with him he shared so many.

The problems he faced to reach this heights was too much after that every year they use to come to our school to conduct SU session. We use to call him Sam uncle whenever our class teacher says that SU team is here we use to  get so excited. We use to forget our exam pressure too when we are with them. I have learnt many things from him.

Rajendra Chozhan

Rajendra Chozhan should have been the most important person in world history. Last century, tends to be the dark times of history and archaeology because all the workers are banned to reveal many truths and facts because of various administrators.

Rajaraja Chozhan encouraged his son in his medieval age and both of them together ruled the empire for around 28 years. It was during the period of  Rajendra Chozhan's rule where art, literature, culture, norms, education, architecture, sculpture, painting and agriculture were prosperous. He encouraged exports and imports, he also encouraged many other religious and also let them build their temples in his place.

Many sculptures from Chozhan dynasty have been taken away to many countries because of their beauty. They are found in various museums all over the world.Rajendra Chozhan conquered from Tanjore in south to the Himalayas in the north. Gangaikondacholapuram remains as a remainder for this incident.

History speaks about the victorious voyage of vascodagama and Christopher Columbus. But Rajendra Chozhan travelled all the way in ship with thousands of soldiers, elepants, war equipments and also food and water for all the people and conquered Sumatra, Malaysia,Indonesia, Burma and Java two thousand years before Columbus and Gama!!!

Rajendra Chozhan introduced election method to choose leaders by people. He was a democratic person. He built many artificial lakes for rain water harvesting. Law, justice and people's security were all very proper in his rule.

All these facts just make me admire him and Rajendra Chozhan is really a person to be known to this world!

Dr.Benny Prasad

Dr Benny prasad is an instrumental guitarist from India. He designed the first bongo guitar, Bentar. I remember meeting him once at our school graduation where he played his bongo to the song from lion king which had us all half teary eyed. His passport is the size of a diary and he is a great traveller performing in all parts of the world.

He is a Bangalorean who studied in Kendriya vidyalaya and now runs a venture called chai 3:16. It's a non commercial 400 seater cafe where only chai is served and the price is decided by the students . It runs as a cafe from Monday to thursday and is changed into a concert hall on Friday to encourage new talent.

Dr Benny prasad is yet another proof of the fact that if one acts according to his passion then success and happiness will come along.

Parvathy Baul

Recently when I was in Trivandrum I happen to go for a Baul concert and it was there that I met Parvathy Baul. She is a Bengali singer , musician and story teller. Everything about her was so attractive starting from her hair that touched the floor.

As we spoke to her , her humbleness and the wide smile that spread over her face made me respect her even more.As the show proceeded , we got to see her performance and listen to her beautiful music . She runs a school for Baul music named Ektara Baul Sangeetha kalari.

Apart from being a musician ,she's also a kathak dancer and had received training as visual artist at Kala bhavan. It was when she was in train that she heard a blind singer performing traditional music of Bengal which later on inspired her to do what she has done now.

Looking at her perform spreads a kind of peaceful sensation and you see passion in her eyes . A lot of people today are stuck up with fitting the ideals set up by society and Parvathy is one who has followed her heart and lived life the way she wants to.

Karl Marx

Karl Marx was born in Germany. He is recognised as an economist, sociologist, journalist and philosopher. As he was a revolutionist he was chased away from many countries. Karl Marx still lives in the minds of many people because of his extraordinary principles.

Man is civilised because of evolution. Even after so many years of civilised years there are still numerous number of people who couldn't satisfy their basic needs like food, water, clothing, education and economic status. Many plans and reforms have been taken to control the difference between the haves and the havenots. But it still remains to be a dream to be fulfilled. Karl Marx was one of the first persons to write about various steps necessary to break this difference in social status among the people. All his works are published by his friend Engels.

People like Lenin, Fidel Castro, Mao Zedong, Hugo Chavez, Salvador, Eva Morales, Che Guevara still remains to be the heroes in people's mind. It is astonishing to know that all these people followed Marx's thoughts and principles.

All the economically developed countries refused to follow Marxian theory. But at the time of recession period in 2008, Marxian books were the highest sold out books!!! Marxism can be followed even after so many centuries. It is evergreen!!!

Warren Buffett

Warren Buffet was born in America and he sold coco cola and newspapers for his livelihood. At the age of 13, he turned to be a boy paying income tax. He started his carrier in Omaha and turned to be the most humble and respectful person in the 21st century.

In today's world where corruption is at high rate, Warren Buffet stands as 'the man of humanity' and ' God of money'.

Warren Buffet is believed to be the hero of the people who strive to improve the economic standards of common people, the intellectuals, the managing directors of corporate companies and also the youngsters. He entered share market by buying the stocks of Bershire Hathaway textiles and is recognized as the richest man in the world for more than 15 years.

Many people competed to have dinner with Warren Buffet. So they held an auction last year and now it costs Rs.235 crores for a person to have dinner with him. He gives this money to a trust.
All over the world, many people suffer because of lack of nutrition, food, shelter, education and live in poverty. Developing countries and underdeveloped countries spend huge amount of money for their space research, military, fertilisers and crackers without spending them for the needy.

But Warren Buffet thought of doing something good to the welfare of these people and have away a huge amount of 37 billion dollars. 1 billion dollar is equal to 1000 crores doll or which is equal to some lakhs crores.....
The most impressive part is that he gave this huge amount of cash to the person who is richer than him... He donated his money to Melinda Gates Foundation. He is really a humble man.....

Bill Gates

Born on October 28th, 1955, in Seattle, Washington, Bill Gates may be the world's most iconic and influential technology innovator. Known publicly as the former CEO of Microsoft, as the leader of the Bill andMelinda Gates Foundation, as an investor in hundreds of technology companies, and as one of the founders of the computer revolution, Gates career has been one of the most important in the world of computing, digital business, and communications.

He attended Lakeside School in his native Seattle, a fairly high-end school in which children were exposed to at-the-time revolutionary computers. Gates quickly grew passionate about the new computer systems, and began spending a great deal of time programming using BASIC language.
Gates obsession with computers grew so strong that he exploited the schools programs, which used fairly archaic computer code, to allow himself more computer time. He was caught by the schools administrator and banned from using the computers, along with several students that would later become his Microsoft colleagues.

The ban did nothing to stop Gates obsession with computers, however, and within a year the teenager was building complex computer programs on his own.
Lacking a firm grasp on colleges purpose and increasingly disillusioned with higher education, he left the university to start working on some of the first PC software, which was coded for the MITS Altair computer system.

This focus on software creation lead to Gates creating Microsoft, a software company that produced a variety of operating systems for computer manufacturers in the 1980s.
While Microsoft was not an early success, its licensing agreements towards the end of the 1980s pushed the company to new heights, and Gates was soon in control of the worlds most successful technology company. With Windows 3.1, and Windows 95 a few years later, Microsoft was at the peak of commercial success, leading the computing world for both businesses and home users.

Despite its mistakes in the 1990s and early 2000s, Microsoft remains one of the technology worlds biggest and most influential companies, and Gates one of the industrys richest men.
Now serving as the chairman of Microsoft, Gates spends his time focusing on the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, a charity devoted to ending disease, hunger, and other issues in the developing world. Bill Gates is a reminder to all people that focus, ambition, and a long-term vision are essential for both cultural and financial success.

Mark Zuckerberg

Mark Zuckerberg was born on May 14th, 1984 to Edward Zuckerberg, a dentist and Karen Kempner,a pshychiatrist. He was brought up in the state of New York, with his three sisters. He was raised Jewish, and even had his Bar Mitzvah as he turned 13.

A rebellious yet relatively quiet student, he created a website called Facemash during his sophomore year – an instantly controversial website that encouraged students to rate each other based on appearance.

Zuckerberg was soon forced to shut the site down, but its immense popularity and controversy had made him consider its future potential. He soon turned the simple site into a personal directory for Harvard students, encouraging them to create their own profiles and network with their peers at the college. It was then, together with his friends, Eduardo Saverin, Andrew McCollum, Dustin Moskovitz and Chris hughes that they launched 'The Facebook'.

Facebook grew into a public service that anyone could access, whether to network with friends and family, to play games, or to meet past colleagues.Of course, given the immense size of the website and its incredible popularity – Facebook now has over seven-hundred million users and makes up a huge portion of overall web traffic – its attracted a reasonable amount of controversy. From privacy disputes to concerns about the companys earliest years and equity share, the company has been sued numerous times and criticized frequently.

Nevertheless, Zuckerberg has remained true to his initial vision – to create a website that the entire world can use to communicate openly and easily with one another. He turned down opportunities to sell the site, often for multi-billion dollar sums.

He even turned down chances to increase the sites income from ad revenue, instead preferring to keep the user experience clean and pure. The end result is one of the worlds biggest online businesses, and an icon of the tech renaissance thats occurred recently.

Although its true value is debatable, its safe to say that Facebook, and its creator Mark Zuckerberg, are two of the twenty-first centurys most influential, controversial, and potentially powerful figures.
